PLDC - Both Head Coaches of the Iranian and the Chinese Olympic squats participated in the press conference after the match. Jiyang Fu told reporters: "We just witnessed a good game of football by both teams which at the end the Iranians ended up as the winners, but despite this loss, we will concentrate on the remaining two games." Hussein Faraki, the newly appointed Iranian coach told reporters: "We came in today with offense in our mind, but we did not forget about our defensive duties as we tried to get the balls in the danger area and stay focus in the back." Regarding Navidkia's performance Faraki said: "Moharram had a slight injury after the game against Esteghlal last week and he only practiced with us twice, and played as a free middle-fielder who was open to be everywhere on the field." At the end, Faraki hoped that China can stay focus on its reaming games as their performance against Korea will directly influence the fate of the Persians and said that we will also come out with our best possible performance regardless of the result of the China-Korea game.
